VI Classic

We are pleased to present the 14th annual VI Classic, a U.S. Equestrian Federation A-rated hunter/jumper show at the Virginia Horse Center. Each year, the Classic attracts 300 to 400 competitors from throughout the Southeast. The four-day event also serves as a training tool for students in Virginia Intermont’s Equine Studies program, providing them the opportunity to work in all aspects of the event. This valuable hands-on experience often results in students obtaining internships, summer positions or full-time work in the horse industry.

Virginia Intermont’s Equine Studies and Riding program continues to be recognized as one of the top in the country, having won 15 national championships since 2001, including the Tournament of Champions Series, IHSA, IDA and ANRC championships.
