North Carolinian Jeffery Beam will be reading a selection of poems from several of his published books as the keynote event celebrating Earth Day on campus. Mr. Beam is the author of over 20 works of poetry, musical collaborations, and criticism. His widely recognized poems are rooted in the garden, woods, fields and mountains. Mr. Beam is a botanical librarian at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and poetry editor of “Oyster Boy Review.”
