The new second company, Richmond Ballet II, is an elite group of ten professional dancers led by Richmond Ballet’s own Resident Artist, Igor Antonov. Sweet Charity
The play is a musical fable that centers on New York taxi dancer Charity Hope Valentine and her unwavering desire to find true love. Even in the face of an indifferent world that keeps dishing out hard knocks she continues to practice the art of giving, loving and remaining ever hopeful.
