The new second company, Richmond Ballet II, is an elite group of ten professional dancers led by Richmond Ballet’s own Resident Artist, Igor Antonov. When Sarah Tollie ’09, a graduate student at Middle Tennessee State University, marketing associate at the Birthplace of Country Music, and alumna of Virginia Intermont’s English – Literature & Creative Writing program, first set foot on VI’s campus, she couldn’t have imagined the world of possibilities the small, tight-knit school would bring to her. Now, eight years later, those possibilities continue to come her way – and she gives VI much of the credit.
