Adult Learners

The Evening & Weekend College program offers core and elective courses and degree programs in Interdisciplinary Studies (Teacher Education), Social Work, and Business Management and Business Tourism. Evening and weekend courses may be conducted in a typical fifteen week semester terms and in compressed subterms that last approximately seven to eight weeks long. These courses of study are uniquely designed for adult learners who want to attend college while continuing to work part or full-time jobs.

Applicants to the Evening & Weekend College program must submit the following material to the Office of Admissions:

1. A completed Evening and Weekend College application;

2. Official high school diploma with at least a 2.0 GPA (or a G.E.D. average of 450 overall or higher (or 2250 total standard score points);

3. Documentation of at least two years of work experience will be supplied when completing the EWC application; exceptions to work experience may be granted after a personal interview to determine the applicant’s ability to succeed in an compressed learning environment.
