The artwork of Virginia Intermont College (VI) alumna Candace Butler will be on display at Handsome Molly’s Bistro and Small Wine Shoppe in Marion, Va. during the months of June and July. Her artwork includes oil paintings of various subjects, including portraits and still lifes.
“I am having my first solo show since graduating in 2011 and look forward to being a part of many other great art events in the area this summer,” said Butler.
Butler will discuss her art on the Kenn Fox live show on WOLD 102.5 The Renegade on Friday, July 13 at noon, followed by a live drawing demonstration at the Bistro from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Butler has participated in numerous other community art events, including the recent Believe in Bristol art competition, Power Hour, and the February 2012 Art D’Vine gallery hop in Downtown.
